Fairfax's Facets Celebrates 25 Years of Assisting Struggling Local Families

Wine, food and entertainment, plus a special presentation to mark the organization's 25th anniversary were part of the event.

Fairfax-based Facets, which helps local families struggling with poverty, celebrated its 25th anniversary while also raising money for its programs at its annual "A Taste of Fall" event last week.

The event was an evening filled with food, fun, entertainment, and a live and silent auction. Attendees sampled food and drink from a variety of Fairfax-area restaurants, wineries and breweries, and Congressman Gerry Connolly presented executive director Amanda Andere with a plaque and flag to mark the organization's anniversary.
