Have an opportunity to talk with fosters and volunteers who can prepare you for dog ownership and help you to choose just the right dog to join your family. If you bring all members of your family including canine, you may be able to adopt the same day. 
In addition to Adoption Days, Lab Rescue also adopts out Labs from foster homes throughout Maryland and Virginia 365 days a year, so go on-line now www.lab-rescue.org and fill out an application to start the adoption process. 
Lab Rescue of the Labrador Club of the Potomac, Inc., is an all- volunteer, nonprofit group that rescues, fosters, and adopts Labs to approved applicants. Dogs come from shelters and humane societies as well as owners who no longer can care for their dogs. Our volunteers are active throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, as far south as SW Virginia, west into eastern West Virginia and north into some parts of Pennsylvania and all areas in between including the Washington DC area.
