The Fairfax Lions participated in an 11 month diabetes screening effort working with the American Diabetes Association. The team did 11 screenings, 34 educational sessions, and touched the lives of over 900 people making a big impact on our local community. The effort was funded partly by the Fairfax Lions, and primarily by a grant from Lions Clubs International. The project was complete in June 2013.
