Fairfax Congregations: Partnering for Climate Change Solutions

50 years after the death of Rachel Carson, and 51 years since her monumental book Silent Spring was published, we will honor her with special events held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax in Oakton, Virginia, on Saturday April 26. And you are invited.

This community organizing event, presented in partnership with Interfaith Power & Light (IPL), will explore opportunities to work together, create hope, and work on practical solutions in Fairfax County as congregations and people of faith. Join representatives of Alfred Street Baptist Church, Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ, Providence Presbyterian Church, Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Hope Lutheran Church Annandale, Temple Rodef Shalom, Reston Bible Church, Peace Lutheran Church, Durga Temple of Virginia, Unity Church Oakton, UUCF, and others.
