One person can really make a difference . . .

That could be you. Do you want to help our young adults have a

great future? Well, if the answer is yes, don’t wait.

You don’t want to miss
the fourth annual “No Fear in Love 6 mile Race”- to raise awareness about
healthy dating relationships in 16-24 year olds and to send a teen dating abuse
survivor to college at Mason.

Find out what's happening in Fairfax Citywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Enjoy the 6-mile course that is flat, fast, traffic-free, and

scenic at W.T. Woodson High School. Experience the best Olympic certified timing performed by a US Track and Field certified company.

You will get an awesome, official “2014 No Fear in Love Race” t-shirt, and the opportunity to win ‘to be’ announced prizes, and you will really make a

difference in a young adult’s life.

Fundraising Levels: We cannot meet our objective of raising $9,000.00, so a

teen dating abuse survivor can attend George Mason without you.

Schedule:

6:00a.m.-Doors open and Registration 6:30a.m.and Dedication.  Race begins

at 6:45a.m.-How Cool! Watch the Sun Rise with us.  Race ends 10:00a.m.

Attire: The theme color is purple for royalty, which is how

everyone deserves to be treated in their relationships. We encourage you to

wear purple. If you wish to honor a survivor of domestic violence or pay

tribute to someone who is no longer with us, we encourage you to do so.

This is
for a great cause: Teen dating violence is really a hidden problem, especially in our teens and young adults, with statistics reporting about 1 out of 3 teens  experiencing some type of abuse in their lives. This is evident by the recent
tragedies which have occurred on college campuses, close to the Northern
Virginia area.

Everybody deserves fearless love, especially during this love season, so come make a difference; you will never be the same again.

Thank you.

After race, discussion about the importance of promotion of healthy dating

relationships in 16-24 year olds, refreshments, prizes, and raffle items, and

more! – W.T. Woodson cafeteria
