  • Football 101 Women's Clinic. Did you ever wonder what your son is doing out on the football field during practice or a game? The local chapter of the National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame has teamed up with Paul VI's football coaching staff to fill you in. Registration costs $20 (includes t-shirt and lunch). Paul VI Catholic High School, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Mutt Love Adoption. who are looking for a home. PETCO on Fairfax Boulevard, 12-3 p.m.

  • Living History: Silas Burke. The city's Second Sunday program introduces John Vrana as Silas Burke, a 19th century farmer, merchant and Northern Virginia local politician. Fairfax Museum & Visitors Center, 10:30 a.m.
  • World Champion Wushu Kungfu Show. Watch the world's top athletes perform kungfu. Brought to Mason by the United States of America Wushu-Kungfu Federation and the O-Mei Wushu Kungfu Center. Tickets $20-40, click here to buy. Center for the Arts, 3 p.m.
