Indie act Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors will take the stage at Jammin’ Java in Vienna on Friday night. Tickets are $15 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Oakton Antiques and Jewelry Grand Opening

Oakton Antiques and Jewelry celebrates its grand opening weekend Friday through Sunday. The shop has a fantastic collection of antique and vintage furniture, home accessories and jewelry, and will host giveaways, raffles and more.

George Mason School of Art Senior Show

The School of Art and Design at George Mason University in Fairfax presents an exhibition highlighting works produced by their international body of graduating students. The exhibition will take place in the Art and Design Building Friday at 6 p.m.

Mutt Love Dog Rescue Adoption Event

Mutt Love Dog Rescue will host an adoption event Saturday at the PETCO in Fairfax. If you want to give a pup a forever home, this event’s for you. For more info or to view available dogs, go to http://www.muttloverescue.org. 

Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series

Holy Cross Lutheran Church presents Reno and Harrell. The sons of the legendary bluegrass masters Don Reno and Bill Harrell have formed a new band that will continue the legacy of their fathers, performing traditional bluegrass music. Showtime is at 8 p.m. on Saturday. 

Endless Cup Coffee House at UCCR Presents Jonah Knight

Jonah Knight plays Paranormal Modern Folk at the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Reston on Friday night. The show begins at 8 p.m.
