Snow Trucks Circulate City Streets Despite 'No Snow' Forecast

Trucks will treat city streets with water until 3 p.m. today.

It's 40 degrees and raining. So what's up with those snow trucks treating Fairfax City streets?

City staff sent out an alert to residents this morning informing that the snow equipment seen out and about Fairfax today is only part of training. Trucks usually seen treating the streets with liquid brine on the eve of a storm will be out and about until 3 p.m. today. They will only dump water as part of this exercise.

But maybe? Just maybe?
