Service Interrupted Between East, West Falls Church Metro Station Starting Friday Night
Shuttle busses to transport people between the two stations Friday night through Sunday.
Metro is advising Orange Line passengers to allow 20 to 30 extra minutes in their commute starting Friday night. Workers will be replacing track ties and insulators on tracks that will eventually connect the new to the Metro system.
The project will begin at 10 p.m. Friday and run through Sunday night.
There will be no train service between West Falls Church and East Falls Church Metro stations, instead passengers will have to use free shuttle busses between the two stations.

The two stations will remain open during construction.
Train service between Vienna and West Falls Church will continue with trains running every 24 minutes and sharing one track.

The last train will leave Vienna at 2:08 a.m. Saturday, 20 minutes earlier than usual. Saturday and Sunday nights, the last train from Vienna will leave at 11:08 p.m.
