BRAC / FAIRFAX COUNTY PARKWAY EXTENSION PROJECT

Daytime work - Closures occur between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) south to Rolling Rd. north - Single lane of ramp closed Monday - Friday for shoulder work.
• Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900) east and west from Rolling Rd. to Accotink Creek bridge - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for utility work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. extension (Route 7100) north to Franconia Springfield Parkway (Route 7900) - Single lane of ramp closed Monday - Friday for shoulder work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) north and south from Barta Rd. to Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900) - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for construction in median for shoulder work.
• Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) north and south from Barta Rd. to Franconia Springfield Pkwy. (Route 7900) - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for construction in median work or shoulder work.
• Rolling Rd. north and south at Fairfax County Pkwy. (Route 7100) to Barta Rd. - Single lane closed Monday - Friday for median and shoulder work.

DULLES CORRIDOR METRORAIL PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) west at Gosnell Rd. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for panel installation. Traffic will be directed to continue west, make a U-turn at Tyco Rd. and follow signs back to make a right onto Gosnell Rd.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east from Jarrett Valley Dr. to the Dulles Toll Rd. (Route 267) - Single lane closed Friday and Saturday nights for temporary realignment.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east at Spring Hill Rd. - Left turn lanes closed Sunday - Friday nights for panel installation. Traffic will be directed to continue east, make a U-turn at Westpark Dr. and follow signs back to make a right onto Spring Hill Rd.
• Spring Hill Rd. north and south at Leesburg Pike (Route 7) - Left turn lane and through lanes closed Sunday - Friday nights for panel installation. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and south at Tysons Blvd. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Galleria Dr. west at Tysons Blvd. - Three left turn lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Galleria Dr. east at Tysons Blvd. - Right turn lane closed Sunday- Saturday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Tysons Blvd. east at Galleria Dr. - Two right lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for station work. Traffic will be directed to follow posted detour signs.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) north at Capital One Dr. - Left turn lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for concrete work.
• Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123) south from Capital One Dr. to I-495 - Right lane closed Sunday - Friday nights for bridge work.

Police will be on site for motorist safety. All closures are weather permitting.

Weekday work - Closures occur between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Expect daytime delays in the Tysons Corner area along the Dulles Connector Road (Route 267), Leesburg Pike (Route 7) and Dolley Madison Blvd. (Route 123).
  All closures are weather permitting.

495 EXPRESS LANES PROJECT

Nighttime work - Closures occur between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. unless otherwise noted.

• I-495 south from Old Dominion Dr. overpass to Exit 45, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) - Right lane closed Friday and Saturday nights for lane shift.
• I-495 south to Exit 45A, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west - Ramp closed Friday and Saturday nights for lane shift. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) west.
• I-495 south to Exit 45B, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east - Ramp closed Sunday - Thursday nights for bridge overhang work. Traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north and follow signs to Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east.
• Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east at I-495 - Left lane closed Thursday - Saturday nights for bridge overhang work.
• Dulles International Airport Access Hwy. east and west at I-495 - Roads closed Monday - Thursday nights for bridge overhang work. Traffic will be directed to use the Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) east or west. Motorists will not be tolled.
• I-495 south to Exit 46A, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south - Ramp closed Monday - Thursday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 46B, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) north, stay to the right, follow signs to I-495 north, stay to the right to enter onto Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south.
• I-495 north from Exit 46, Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) to Lewinsville Rd. overpass - Three lanes closed Tuesday night for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Chain Bridge Rd. (Route 123) south from I-495 to Westpark Dr. overpass - Two right lanes closed Monday and Tuesday nights for overhead sign installation. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Leesburg Pike (Route 7) east to I-66 west - Ramp closed intermittently for up to 30 minutes after midnight Sunday - Saturday nights for overhead sign installation.
• I-66 west to I-495 south - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for sign work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Exit 62, Nutley St. south, stay to the right, follow signs to I-66 east to I-495 south.
• I-66 west from Exit 67, Dulles Connector Rd. (Route 267) to Exit 64, I-495 - Two lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for utility work and traffic shift. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-66 east general purpose ramp (right exit) to I-495 north - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge work. Traffic will be directed to use the I-66 east HOV ramp (left exit) to access I-495 north.
• I-66 east from Exit 62, Nutley St. overpass to I-495 - Three lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Nutley St. south to I-66 east - Ramp closed Sunday - Saturday nights for overhead sign installation. Prior to work zone, traffic will be directed to take I-66 west to Exit 57A, Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. (Route 50) east, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 east.
• I-495 north and south from Idylwood Rd. overpass to Exit 50, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) - Three lanes closed Sunday - Saturday nights for bridge work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 north or south from Lee Hwy. (Route 29) to Exit 50, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) - Three lanes closed Monday and Tuesday nights for traffic shift. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 south from Exit 50, Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) to Exit 52, Little River Tpk. (Route 236)- Three left lanes closed Monday - Thursday nights for overhead sign work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) east to I-495 north - Ramp closed Tuesday night for traffic shift. Traffic will be directed to I-495 south to Exit 52B, Little River Tpk. (Route 236) east, stay to the right and follow signs to I-495 north.
• Arlington Blvd. (Route 50) west and Fairview Park Dr. to I-495 north - Ramps closed Sunday - Saturday nights for overhead sign work. Traffic will be directed to continue west to Gallows Rd. (Route 650) south and follow signs to I-495 north.
• I-495 north or south from Heming Ave. underpass to Exit 51, Gallows Rd. (Route 650) - Three lanes closed Sunday - Friday nights for traffic shift, overhead sign or barrier work. Expect intermittent full road closures of up to 30 minutes after midnight.
• I-495 west/north (Inner Loop) at I-395 - Road closed Monday - Friday nights for bridge demolition. Traffic will be directed to take Exit 170B, I-395 north to Exit 2, Edsall Rd. west, stay to the right, follow signs to I-395 south and take Exit 1D, I-495 west/north (Inner Loop) toward Tysons Corner.

Weekday work- Closures occur between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

• Expect single lane closures on the Inner and Outer Loops of I-495 from Springfield Interchange to beyond the Dulles Toll Rd. (Route 267) within the project area including all connecting arterials.

Ongoing work
