Fairfax County Parkway Lane Shift Begins Today

Changes to Fairfax County Parkway, Rolling Road.

Traffic will shift on the Fairfax County Parkway as crews rebuild the right lane starting Tuesday.

The lane shift will take place from the eastbound ramps of the Fairfax County Parkway to the southbound ramps, Virginia Department of Transportation officials stated in an alert. The shift will take place until a new lane is constructed.

Traffic on Rolling Road will close just past the parkway’s traffic signal. The single lane configuration at Rolling Road and the Fairfax County Parkway is scheduled to be in place until completion of the southbound lanes early next year.
