Fairfax Animal Shelter Resumes Adoptions After Virus
All cats were euthanized in June due to a virus.
The Fairfax County Animal Shelter has resumed cat adoptions after a virus in June.
To celebrate the re-opening, the shelter is hosting a ExtravaCATza. The first 100 cats adopted at the shelter in July and August will receive a free spay or neuter. There is also no adoption fee for cats that are 7 years or older.
One of those cats up for adoption is this week’s Pet of the Week, Michael, who is a 10-year-old neutered, “talkative” cat.
