April showers bring May flowers, but they also bring lots of water to an already saturated ground. With the cold weather fading away over the coming months flood conditions can develop at any time when waters saturate the ground. Water can rise rapidly under these conditions covering a roadway and making driving conditions very hazardous. The attached video is from September of 2011. Conditions can get worse than you see in this video so please do not drive when severe rain or flooding is expected.
