The Neediest Kids, a part of The National Center for Children and Families, provides thousands of Washington, D.C. Metro area low-income students with the basic essentials needed to ensure they receive a quality education.  According to the non-profit, there are 250,000 low-income children in the DC Metro region that require assistance. The Neediest Kids has been serving the area for more than 40 years, and within the last school year alone helped 20,000 children.

“The Wise Investor Group has been a strong partner and donor for a number of years,” said Lynne Downer, Associate Director of Development at The National Center for Children and Families. “The donation will help vulnerable students in the DC metro area to receive eye glasses and eye exams, new clothes, school uniforms, school supplies, food, personal care items and transportation so they can stay in school and be ready to learn.”

The Wise Investor Group is honored to support children’s charities. In addition to The Neediest Kids, the Wise Investor Group has supported the Orphan Foundation of America, now known as Foster Care to Success, for more than a decade.
