Virginia's ABC Stores to Open on Sundays Starting July 1

The stores will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, including three ABC stores in Fairfax City.

Beginning July 1, some Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control stores across the state will add Sunday hours to their regular hours of operation.

The stores will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, including three ABC stores in Fairfax City. One ABC store is located on the western edge of the city limits past Jermantown Road, another is inside the Courthouse Plaza in downtown Fairfax, and the third is located in Fair City Mall.

ABC stores also occasionally host tasting events in the Northern Virginia area. The full list of events can be found on their website. The next one closest to Fairfax City is Thursday, June 21 in Burke at 5739 Burke Centre Parkway from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
