Ready to Vote for Best Place to Catch a Live Show?

From packed club floors to intimate drum circles, which Fairfax City venue provides the best atmosphere for live music? This is your chance to nominate Fairfax businesses for next week's poll.

We will be designating a "Best Live Music Venue in Town" award to one establishment in Fairfax City.

You can get a head start in selecting the winner by nominating your favorite places to catch a live show in the comments below.

Once we get nominations, we'll have a poll for readers to vote for the best venue and a forum to debate the issue because, really, that's going to be just as fun.

On Monday, we'll publish a poll and list choices for you to vote on. You'll also be able to "write in" a nomination in the comments box.

You'll be able to vote until Friday at 9 a.m. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

What will the winner get? Bragging rights! And a framed certificate to let customers know about the title, too.
