I'm pretty sure that Total Wine and More likely beats out the competition. The selection is massive as compared to boutique stores and the sales volume naturally leads to lower prices. The lacking factor is ambiance, but I've got a nice dining room for that.

OAKTON WINE SHOP - hands down winner! Knowledge, variety, price and personal attention. A fun place for tasting and convenient to get to!

Lake Anne Florist - great local Virginian wines! Plus there's chocolate & flowers...

I no longer drink alcohol but when I did, I would go to Total Wine & More, however it use to be called Total Beverage. I would go there because of the large selection of British drinks, one in particular called a Snowball and another called Shandy.
