Visitors and vendors packed Old Town Hall this weekend to get a taste of old favorites and latest chocolate creations this weekend at the Chocolate Lovers Festival.

The line to get into Taste of Chocolate filled the sidewalk in front of the town hall and wrapped around the corner of the building. Ushers let families in one at a time to keep the festival floor from getting too crowded.

Tables with chocolate fountains, hand-dipped strawberries and countless other confections lined up on either side of the slow-moving masses. The vendor list had long been filled and only a lucky few made it in on the wait-list.

Festival-goers bought $1 chips to buy chocolates. The proceeds will go to help feed hungry kids as part of the Kiwanis Club of Fairfax's Meals for Young Minds program.
