A California chocolate company dearly loved by East Coasters has opened a seasonal location in Fair Oaks Mall.
See's Candies opened on Thursday in the Fairfax shopping center, in a kiosk on the lower level near Corner Bakery Cafe and the Cheesecake Factory—a convenient location for the candy and cake lovers of the county.
Sadly, the sugary shop isn't here to stay. It is a seasonal tenant, as it has been in past years, and will only be open until April 2014, said Ed Cassidy, marketing and sponsorship director for Fair Oaks Mall.
See's Candies has been around for 90 years and is a well-known, highly sought-out candy maker.
