Fairfax City's New Eye Level Learning Center Celebrates Grand Opening

Eye Level is an after-school supplemental learning program for children in reading, writing and math.

The staff of the all-new Eye Level Learning Center in Fairfax City celebrated the center's grand opening this past Saturday.

The center provides after-school supplemental learning in the subjects of math, reading and writing for children.

Owner Andrew Sample describes Eye Level's teaching and learning approach as "fostering self-directed learning through customized academic coaching."

"The innovative approach to education works at the pace and level needed by the child and stimulates critical thinking among students, helping children improve and excel in their academic pursuits," Sample added.

The center's after-school hours are Mondays, 1-7 p.m.; and Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3-7 p.m.

Saturday's grand opening celebration featured refreshments and games, and a visit from Joe Montano from U.S. Senator Tim Kaine's Virginia office.

Sample says Eye Level is excited about its new local location.

"We are very excited to be a part of the Fairfax community," he said.

Eye Level is currently offering a free skills assessment for families who are interested in finding out how Eye Level can help their child in math, reading and writing.
