Families slow down a little, connect a little more and count their blessings in their own ways - even if its just going out to eat because the power is out.

Communities draw a little closer.

The storm did that.

"Weathering a storm" teaches us (if we pay attention) of what it means to hunker down and ride it out - as we often have to do in life, during an adverse time.

In its own way, a storm lets us know that if we somehow get through this one event there will be something special for us when the winds die down and the rain stops.

Saturday's Storm gave us a chance to work through a tough time, draw closer together and become stronger.

The storm did that too!

Hope you did not miss our reward when the winds died downed and the rain stopped.
