National Book Critics Circle Autobiography & Memoir Panel

Every year, the National Book Critics Circle selects awards in six different literary categories, including autobiography and memoir. Ariel Sabar, author of the 2008 NBCC Award Winner for autobiography, My Father’s Paradise, Peter Manseau, Vows: The Story of a Priest, a Nun, and Their Son, and E. Ethelbert Miller, The 5th Inning, join critic Marcela Valdes, member of the NBCC Board of Directors, to discuss the nature and significance of the autobiography as a form of literature.
