American Legion Halloween Benefit Party
Oct. 26, American Legion Post 177 

Stop by to party it up and support Final Salute, an organization that helps homeless veterans and their families find transitional housing. Expect food, music, costume prizes and more. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20.

19th Annual Valvoline Instant Oil Change Goblin Gallop
Oct. 28, Fairfax Corner

Compete in this annual 5K run with prizes for first, second and third place winners in age categories. This event also offers a 1K fun run for families and a 5K walk. The fun starts at 8:30 a.m. Get there early to register.

Mosby Woods Annual Halloween Parade
Oct. 28, Mosby Woods Pool

The community's annual halloween parade starts at the Mosby Woods Pool parking lot at 2:30 p.m. Drop by to see the Fairfax High School marching Rebels in action.

Fall Masquerade Concert
Oct. 30, Fairfax High School 

The Fairfax High School combined choirs and instrumental ensembles will perform Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" in the FHS auditorium at 7 p.m.

Mall-O-Ween at Fair Oaks Mall
Oct. 31, Fair Oaks Mall

The mall will be open for trick or treaters Halloween night. Expect a few family-friendly surprises.
