Fairfax Police Youth Club to Host 50th Anniversary Field Day

The Fairfax Police Youth Club will be hosting a field day on Saturday in celebration of its 50th anniversary.

The FPYC will sponsor a free multi-sport celebration of its past, present, and future activities.

 FPYC sport skill activities include:

  • Soccer
  • T-Ball
  • Softball
  • Football
  • Rugby
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Field Hockey
  • Wrestling
  • Track and Field
  • Lacrosse
  • Cheer
Other activities include a demonstration by the Fairfax City K-9 Unit, obstacle course, velcro wall, and face painting.

Participants will receive a 'passport' that they will carry to each activity where they will join in a game related to a particular sport. They will then receive a passport stamp and move to the next sport. Once their passport is full, they will proceed to 'Customs' where their passport will be stamped and they will receive a free commemorative t-shirt. 

The field day will take place this Saturday, June 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fairfax High School, 3501 Rebel Run.
