A.C MOORE ARTS & CRAFTS EXPANDS IN EASTERN VIRGINIA

The Yorktown store, located at 5007 Victory Boulevard in Yorktown, Va., is the first to bear the A.C. Moore name. The conversion is part of an expansion of A.C. Moore by its new ownership led by Pepe Piperno, who purchased the company in late 2011. Piperno has owned and operated the Richmond-area Ben Franklin stores since 2008, and will merge them into the 133-store A.C Moore East Coast chain throughout the Spring.

The name is changing from Ben Franklin to A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts, but the stores will continue offering a unique product selection along with outstanding customer service to their loyal customers in Yorktown and Richmond.

All current Ben Franklin customers can sign up for A.C. Moore’s “Rewards” loyalty program when visiting any A.C. Moore store. To celebrate the name change, the company will hold grand opening events later this spring.
