How I Paid For College

John Swazye Theatre, 9431 Silver King Ct, Fairfax, VA | Get Directions »
$20.00

Broadway veteran ALEX BRIGHTMAN (WICKED, GLORY DAYS) takes you on the ride of your life in Marc Acito's HOW I PAID FOR COLLEGE in its WORLD PREMIERE at The Hub Theatre. Brightman stars in this one man play with music (or monologiscal) and plays about 20 roles! It's fast-paced, outrageous, and a pure joy to experience Brightman's performance as we see high schooler Edward Zanni stumble toward his dream of becoming a professional actor.

Last year, playwright Marc Acito won the Helen Hayes Charles MacArthur Award for Outstanding New Play or Musical with BIRDS OF A FEATHER when it premiered at The Hub. He's back this year with an adaptation of his award-winning novel, HOW I PAID FOR COLLEGE (New York Times Editor's Choice).

Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm, Sundays at 2pm & 7pm
