SPEAK OUT: Did the 'Skins Give up Too Much to Move Up?

Tell Us: Should the 'Skins draft a franchise quarterback or fill another need?

The NFL Draft has finally arrived and the Washington Redskins are sitting in the No. 2 spot in the first round. ESPN projects the 'Skins will select Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin, III. If RG3 comes to Washington, it will be the first time the Redskins have drafted a quarterback in the first round since Jason Campbell in 2005. Griffin threw for more than 4,000 yards and rushed for almost 700-yards last season while reaching the end zone 47 times. The last time the Redskins drafted a Heisman Trophy winner was 20-years ago when Desmond Howard joined the team, according to the Washington Times. But to move up in the 2012 NFL Draft, the 'Skins gave up a king’s ransom. To move into the St. Louis Rams’ spot, the Washington Times reported …

SPEAK OUT: Should the Redskins Acquire Peyton Manning?

The Washington Redskins are planning to make an aggressive effort in bringing Manning to the DMV, according to the Washington Post. The Post also reported that it’s unclear if the Redskins will try to make a push to draft Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III in April. The Redskins along with Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, and the New York Jets all have been rumored as possible …

Is Ashburn Why the Redskins Stink? Part 1

Could the cozy suburb be to blame for the team's woes? Will leaving Ashburn reverse its fortunes?

On January 26, 1992, the Washington Redskins were on top of the football world. The team capped one of the most dominating seasons in NFL history by thrashing the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVI. The victory earned the Redskins a third Lombardi Trophy in 10 seasons, placing the team squarely in the conversation for greatest team of the decade. Eight Redskins would soon head to the Pro Bowl, and all indications were the Redskins would continue to ride a star-studded roster and savvy coaching to continued success in the coming decades. Then, the Redskins moved to Ashburn. Since that fateful day on August 26, 1992, when the Redskins officially moved the team headquarters and practice facilities from Herndon to Ashburn, the team has suffered …

As a life-long Eagles fan I have no gripes with Dan Snyder or Jerry Jones. It just means that, realistically, we only have to worry about the Giants and, to a lesser extent, the Cowboys. At least Jerry Jones appears to have learned to be a GM. I don't see any evidence of that from Dan Snyder. &nbsp more ›
