Done. She needs to lose her real parents, since they obviously don't care about her.

Thank you Liz. Every signature really helps. Please share with anyone else who might be willing toRead Mores ign. Her story is tragic and she needs all the support she can get. Hopefully she will be allowed to return home soon and eventually get her high school diploma, maybe go to college, which she can't hope to do in Russia.

WJLA did a new story on the same thing that was seen in the Loudoun/ Dulles area around new yearsRead More20 14. My family and I plus a neighbor saw the same thing in September 2013, in the Mantua area, northwest of intersection of 236 and Guinea Rd. Only one though - slowly flashing red/yellow and floating down toward our car, stayed around tree height until one of the kids yelled really loud, then it rather quickly rose up and far away, heading north. Other friends in Mantua saw a similar thing later, like in October. Maybe WJLA will come do a story about the multiple sightings of whatever-it-is in the Fairfax City area?

I saw this same thing on 3/7/14 around 9:05pm around Olley & Braeburn Rd in Fairfax. I'm notRead Moreone to believe in UFOs and aliens and all that, so I figure there's a logical explanation as to what they were. I'm mostly curious what that is.

Thanks, Patricia. They should know there are various rescue groups (& individual fosters)Read Moreavaila ble & should network with them. There are even fosters & rescue orgs who prefer "senior" pets. Fairfax County Animal Shelter has an amazing Facebook page with lots of successful ideas.

The shelter is Fairfax City's municipal shelter; there is one ACO, who is very nice & veryRead Morepro-a nimal/pro-rescue. I was surprised to see this because I can't imagine her calling for the cat to be put down. Changes to municipal shelters/pounds are very hard to undertake because they're government entities. You can call ACO Holden at 703-385-7919 to inquire about the cat & whatever foster/outreach is being done.

I'm sure she is very nice but I am also sure she has limitations set by the bureaucratic entity. IRead Morew ould prefer the shelter seeing our comments, & that we care.
