In the time Kevin Stone's joined and practiced with his Fairfax City pinball league, he's honed his technique enough to jump three divisions. He'll be competing with the best this weekend at the 9th Annual Fairfax Pinball Open at John's Place on Lee Highway.

Stone thanks weekly Free State Pinball Association meetings for his pinball tournament success. He meets with other pinball players at the Fairfax City bar every Monday to discuss tactics and practice with other serious competitors.

The tournament starts at 3 p.m. on Friday and finishes late Sunday afternoon. Check Patch every day this week for more video interviews with the competitors and tournament coverage.
