Fairfax fans met players on the court Monday night to celebrate a close victory over W.T. Woodson in the first round of the Northern Region tournament.

The Rebels varsity basketball team grabbed the win with only a three-point lead. Final score: 54-51.

They'll try to strengthen that margin Wednesday night as they take on Yorktown at home. 

The game starts at 7:30 p.m., but the team is looking for volunteers to help sell Rebel dogs and chili, pizza, sodas and other snacks starting at 6:45.
