Police Need Your Help in Kings Park West Sexual Assault

The victim was attacked along Commonwealth Boulevard.

A woman was walking along Commonwealth Boulevard near Richardson Drive Wednesday night when she was grabbed from behind by an unknown assailant and dragged into the trees.

The man, described by Fairfax County Police as white, about 5-feet 7-inches tall, was wearing a sweatshirt. He used a knife to threaten the 24-year-old woman. He sexually assaulted her at around 10 p.m. The woman was able to go for help when her attacker heard a noise, got spooked and fled.
