Police Make Two Assault Arrests in Two Days

The latest in Fairfax City news.

Fairfax City Police made two assault arrests in separate incidents on Feb. 19 and 20. Here are the details:

  • Assault Arrest, Mosby Woods Condominiums: Gloria Ann West, 51, of Mosby Woods Drive was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old woman and threatening her with a knife on Feb. 17. Police said the incident began as a verbal argument that turned physicial. The victim was not injured. West was charged with assault.
  • Assault Arrest, 3900 Jermantown Road: Jason Edward Blake, 37, of Covington Street was arrested for allegedly attempting to steal a 42-year-old woman's cell phone on Feb. 18. She also supposedly threatened and intimidated his victim. The victim was not injured. Blake was charged with assault and drunk in public.
