ID’s ‘Disappeared’ on Decker Re-Airs Sunday

Investigators hope the show prompts someone to come forward with information about the missing Ashburn mother.

Bethany Anne Decker has been missing since Jan. 29, 2011. Her family and investigators hope an episode of Investigation Discovery channel’s Disappeared focusing on the Ashburn mother will lead to new information in the case.

The show first aired Nov. 26, but is set to rerun at 7 p.m. Saturday and again at 2 a.m. Sunday. Investigators in the case are seeking anyone with information about Decker in the days before and after her disappearance. She was last seen at her Ashburn apartment by her then-boyfriend.

The Disappeared episode clears up many questions about why there appeared to be two men in Decker’s life. Both men have been questioned in the case. No charges have been filed, nor has a crime been discovered. She was five months pregnant when she disappeared. Her son was living with her mother at that time.

By the time Decker’s family contacted the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office on Feb. 19, the trail was cold and investigators have been unable to solve the case. Her car was found in the parking lot outside her apartment, and she has not used her cell phone or credit cards since she went missing. There has been no activity on her bank accounts.

Decker studied at George Mason University and worked at Carrabba’s in Centreville.

Decker remains officially listed as a “missing person.” Anyone with information about her or the case is asked to contact Detective Mark McCaffrey at 703-777-0475.
