Fairfax Man's Death Notches an Afghanistan War Milestone

He died of natural causes in Kabul.

 

A local man recently became the highest ranking U.S. officer to die in Afghanistan during the war.

Brig. Gen. Terence J. Hildner, 49, of Fairfax County passed away of natural causes in Kabul Friday, according to The Washington Post. 

Hildner's parents lived near George Mason University up until about a year ago.
