Hello New Family Naturals Friends and Supporters!

We are excited to announce that we are opening up a Community Health Food Market and Juice Bar! Our shop will be THE place to get vegetarian, vegan and gluten free goodies. Our new shop is located in beautiful Lake Anne Plaza in Reston, VA. We plan to open by August 1, 2012, but we’ll keep you posted on our progress and other details as we get closer to the Grand Opening.

In the meantime, we have already been busy ripping up carpet and cleaning out the cobwebs from the previous tenant! We are building our kitchen in the back end, where we will make our now coveted kale chips. In the front end, we’ll be serving up juices, smoothies, gluten free wraps and salads. We’ll also be featuring some awesome, locally produced goods, food and art. It is our sincere hope that our little shop will be a gathering place as much as a marketplace.

On a Budget

We are doing most of the physical, construction work ourselves to get the space ready. This will save us THOUSANDS of dollars in contractor fees and labor. What we still need to buy, however, is EQUIPMENT and a small amount of INVENTORY.

That is why we are reaching out to YOU, our family, friends, and supporters to help us reach our fundraising goal of $6,000.
